Movement

The BIN Movement page allows users to manage and track the movement of both serial and non-serial inventory items within different storage bins.

Page Overview

  1. BIN Summary Section:

    • Displays a summary of the current inventory for the selected SKU.

    • Shows the quantity of items in different states (Unrestricted, Block, QI).

  2. Movement Section:

    • Allows users to move items between bins.

    • Includes options to enable Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for automated data transfer.

  3. Item List Section:

    • Displays a list of items that meet the search and bin movement criteria

    • Users can search, filter, and select items for movement.

Detailed Instructions

BIN Summary Section

  1. SKU Information:

    • The SKU being managed is displayed at the top of the page.
  2. Inventory Status Table:

    • Columns: Displays the different bin codes (e.g., "0001", "RETU").

    • Unrestricted: Shows the quantity of items available for use.

    • Block: Shows the quantity of items blocked from use.

    • QI (Quality Inspection): Displays the quantity of items designated for quality inspection.

    • Total: Displays the total quantity of items for each bin code.

Movement Section

  1. Enable EDI Toggle:

    • Purpose: Enable or disable EDI for automated data transfer.

    • Usage: Click the toggle switch to turn EDI on or off.

  2. Row and Column Movement Fields:

    • Row: Enter the row number to specify the location within the bin for movement (e.g., "322 - UNR to QI").

    • Column: Select the form and to fields to define the source and destination bins for the items being moved (e.g., from "RETU" to "RETU").

  3. Show Item List Button:

    • Purpose: Display a list of items based on the specified movement criteria.

    • Usage: After entering the movement details, click the SHOW ITEM LIST button to generate the list of items.

Item List Section

  1. Search Functionality:

    • Search By: Select the search criteria (Pallet Number, BIN Number, Box Number).

    • Search or Scan: Enter the search term or scan the barcode.

    • Select Location: Filter items by their location.

    • Select Status: Filter items by their status (e.g., Inventory).

  2. Search and Clear Buttons:

    • SEARCH: Click to execute the search based on the specified criteria.

    • Clear: Click to reset the search criteria.

  3. Item Details:

    • Displays the details of items matching the search and bin movement criteria, including WMS Number, Serial Number, Pallet Number, BIN Number, Box Number, Location, Status, Quantity (Qty), and Move Quantity (Move Qty). Please note that there will be no Qty or Move Qty fields if the SKU type is serial.

    • Clear Selected: Click to clear the selected items from the list.

Managing Serial Items

  1. Viewing Serial Items:

    • Serial items are listed with their specific serial numbers in the item list.

    • Check the boxes next to the serial numbers of the items you wish to move.

  2. Moving Serial Items:

    • Verify the details of the selected serial items.

    • Click the MOVEMENT button to execute the movement.

Managing Non-Serial Items

  1. Viewing Non-Serial Items:

    • Non-serial items are listed without specific serial numbers but include other identifiers like pallet and bin numbers.

    • Check the boxes next to the items you wish to move.

  2. Moving Non-Serial Items:

    • Enter the desired Move Qty for each selected non-serial item in the corresponding field.

Verify the details and click the MOVEMENT button to execute the movement.
