Packing

The Packing page is used to finalize the packing of items that have been picked for an order. It allows users to record where the packed items are placed and to track the progress of the packing process.

Components

1. DN Number Search Bar:

   • Located at the top left of the page.

   • Allows users to search for a specific order by entering the DN number.

   • Click on the Search button to retrieve the relevant packing details.

2. Summary Section:

   • Displays an overview of the packing status for the selected order.

   • Packing Type: Indicates the type of packing (Normal, Direct).

   • Total QTY: Total quantity of items that need to be packed.

   • Packed QTY: Shows the quantity of items that have been packed so far.

   • Remaining: Indicates the remaining quantity that still needs to be packed.

   • Order Note: Displays any notes related to the order.

3. Source Selector:

   • The Source Selector allows you to choose the source of items you want to use for packing. The system provides two sources:

     1. Packing Location: This is the designated location where picked items are temporarily stored before packing.

     2. Inventory: This refers to items that are directly taken from the inventory shelves for packing.

4. Item Details Section:

   • Line Number: Shows the line number associated with the item in the order.

   • SKU Number: Displays the SKU of the item being packed.

   • SKU Type: Indicates the type of SKU.

   • SKU Description: A brief description of the SKU.

   • UOM: Unit of Measure for the item.

   • Total Order: Total quantity ordered for this SKU.

   • Item Location: Indicates the location where the items are currently stored.

   • Location QTY: Shows the quantity of the item in the specified location.

   • BIN Type: refers to the categorization of items within the warehouse based on their status, purpose, or condition.

   • Packed Item: A field where users can enter the quantity of items being packed and specify the location (e.g., Box, Pallet).

5. Packed Location:

   • Allows users to select the destination location where the packed items will be placed.

   • Users can search or scan the destination location using the provided field.

6. Actions:

   • Pack All: Click this button to pack all the remaining items at once.

   • Save: Saves the current packing details.

7. Control Buttons:

   • Complete Packing: Finalizes the packing process for the DN and moves the items to the next stage.

     1. The Complete Packing pop-up appears when a user attempts to finalize the packing process for an order but has not yet packed all the items. This pop-up serves as a reminder and confirmation step, ensuring that the user is aware of any remaining items that still need to be packed.

   • Holding Items: Allows users to mark items as "on hold" if there are issues or if packing needs to be paused for some reason.
